What is Raven?

Raven is a Canadian women-focused telehealth platform that gives you personalized support for weight and metabolic health. We offer medical evaluation, treatment options, lifestyle guidance, and ongoing support, all online and designed for women.

Does Raven replace my primary doctor?

No. Raven can help with specific concerns, but it isn’t a full replacement for your family doctor. For full physicals, complex issues, or urgent care, you should still see a provider in person.

Do I need a prescription to use Raven?

If a Raven physician decides that you’re suitable, a treatment and prescription will be created for you after your online visit. Our physicians uphold the highest of Canadian medical and prescribing standards.

Is it legal to prescribe medication online?

Yes. Raven has built a modern telehealth platform to enable physicians to practice medicine and take care of patients remotely. Every doctor you interact with is licensed to prescribe medicine and treat patients in your province and complies with all governing medical laws in Canada. Telehealth is legal in Canada, and is changing health care for the better.

What provinces are you available in?

We are currently available in Ontario, BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and PEI

Is my information private?

We follow Canadian health privacy laws and use encrypted, healthcare-grade systems to protect your personal and medical information. Any medication is shipped discreetly and requires a signature upon delivery.

Is my information safe?

At Raven we take your data security very seriously. All of your data is encrypted and secured meeting all Canadian PHIPA requirements. Access to your medical records are encrypted to protect your data at all times. We’ve designed the Raven platform to comply with all relevant privacy laws and have implemented strict security protocols to protect your information.

Why do I need to verify my ID?

We do this to make sure that you’re over 18 and that the prescription is in your correct legal name. Your doctor will need to confirm your identity before treating you via our telehealth platform.

How much does treatment cost?

Pricing depends on your health needs. You’ll see exact pricing during your online assessment. Raven does not require insurance, but some plans may be covered depending on your provider.

Can I bill insurance?

While we don't offer direct billing, if you have coverage, everything you will need for reimbursement will be included in the box.

Can my plan change over time?

Yes. Your provider can adjust your dose, switch medications, or update your plan as your needs change.

Can I return my prescription?

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of prescription products for reuse or resale. However, if you feel we have made an error in the filling of your prescription, please contact us at hello@getraven.com

How does Raven work?

  1. You fill out a short, secure health form about your goals and medical history.
  2. A licensed provider reviews your information to see what care is safe and appropriate.
  3. If eligible, you get prescribed medication.
  4. Medication (if prescribed) is delivered to you and your plan begins.
  5. You get ongoing support through check-ins, messages, and adjustments as needed.

What happens after I submit my health form?

A licensed Canadian provider reviews your form within 24 hours. You’ll get updates by email and in your Raven portal with next steps or questions from your provider.

How quickly will a doctor review my assessment?

After your online visit a doctor will complete their initial review of your medical history within 24 hours.

I missed a message from my doctor. Where can I find it?

All provider messages appear in your Raven portal. We also send email reminders, but the portal is the quickest place to check.

What if the medication doesn’t feel right for me?

Message your provider. They can adjust your dose, suggest tips for side effects, or switch medications. Your treatment should feel manageable and safe.

What should I do if I am experiencing a side effect?

If you believe you have a medical emergency please contact 911 immediately.

If you believe you are experiencing a side effect and it is not an emergency, please stop taking the medication and message your prescribing physician on Raven and they will be able to recommend an appropriate course of action. Alternatively, feel free to email hello@getraven.com and we will notify the physician on your behalf.

It’s an emergency, what do I do?

In an emergency, please call 911 immediately.

When will I see results?

Most women notice appetite changes in the first few weeks. Weight changes usually begin between 4–12 weeks. Your provider may adjust your plan along the way.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes you can pause or cancel upcoming orders. We do suggest messaging your provider first since most concerns can be resolved with small adjustments.
