Completing your online health questionnaire and connecting with a licensed Raven provider will help you confirm whether treatment is right for you.

How is this different from what I can buy at the store?

Unlike what you can get at the store, Raven's skincare treatments are prescribed online by licensed Canadian providers and powered by clinically proven, active ingredients.

Will my insurance cover this?

Your insurance may cover skincare treatment. While we don't offer direct billing, if you have coverage, everything you need for reimbursement will be included in your prescription package.

Do I need a referral from a dermatologist?

No. You do not need a referral from a dermatologist. Raven's healthcare providers are licensed in Canada to evaluate your health and prescribe treatment.

Can I use this if I'm pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding?

If you're pregnant, actively planning on getting pregnant, or breastfeeding, you should not use skincare treatment. Consult with a healthcare provider about your plans for pregnancy for more personalized guidance.

How long does the adjustment period last?

Adjusting to prescription-strength skincare treatment can take about 4-8 weeks. You may notice dryness, redness, peeling, and a potential purging of acne during this time.

Do I need to wear sunscreen while using this?

Yes. Using prescription-strength skincare treatment can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. We recommend regularly using suncreen to protect your skin during treatment. You can discuss this with your provider upon prescription.

Do I have to use this forever to keep the results?

We recommend using skincare treatment long-term for the best results. Continuous use can soften fine lines, brighten skin tone, clear acne, and smooth texture over time.

How does Raven work?

  2. A licensed provider reviews your information to see if care is appropriate.
  3. If prescribed, your medication is delivered discreetly to your door.
  4. You get ongoing support through doctor check-ins and reminders.
What happens after I submit my health form?

A licensed Canadian provider reviews your form within 24 hours. You’ll get updates by email and in your Raven portal with next steps or questions from your provider.

Is it legal to prescribe treatment online?

Yes. Telehealth is legal in Canada, and is changing healthcare for the better. Raven enables physicians to practice medicine and take care of patients remotely. Every doctor you interact with is licensed to prescribe treatment and treat patients in your province and complies with all governing medical laws in Canada.

How quickly will a doctor review my questionnaire?

After your online questionnaire, a doctor will complete their initial review of your medical history within 24 hours.

We are currently available in Ontario, BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and PEI.

Is my information safe?

Yes. At Raven, we take your data security very seriously. Your medical records are encrypted and secure, meeting all Canadian PHIPA requirements, to protect your information at all times.

What if the treatment doesn’t feel right for me?

Message your provider. They can suggest tips for side effects or switch treatments. Your plan should feel manageable and work with your life.

Can I return my prescription?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of prescription products for reuse or resale. However, if you feel we made an error in the filling of your prescription, please contact us at support@getraven.com.

I missed a message from my doctor. Where can I find it?

All provider messages appear in your Raven portal. We also send email reminders, but the portal is the quickest place to check.

What should I do if I am experiencing a side effect?

If you believe you have a medical emergency, please contact 911 immediately.

If you believe you are experiencing a side effect and it is not an emergency, please stop taking the medication and message your prescribing physician. They will be able to recommend an appropriate course of action. Alternatively, feel free to email support@getraven.com and we will notify the physician on your behalf.

It’s an emergency, what do I do?

In an emergency, please call 911 immediately.

Can I cancel my order at any time?

Yes. You can pause or cancel upcoming orders. We suggest messaging your provider first since most concerns can be resolved with small adjustments.
